We couldn’t be happier! Little by little, our efforts are paying off as more and more people are choosing to install photovoltaic systems using our water-ballasted supports for flat surfaces and rooftops, Landblock. In this section called “Success Stories” we’ll show you real installations carried out with our solar structures, as well as feedback from our customers who are already using the product.
Industrial Installation in Ermua
This installation you see here has a capacity of 71.30 kWp and was carried out on the flat roof of a company in Ermua, Bizkaia. The team at EKISOLAR was in charge of the installation, and since the product is still relatively new, part of the Landatu Solar team traveled there to ensure that everything was being installed correctly.
Although our supports can be ballasted with water, the client preferred to use sand, probably due to the understandable hesitation of trying something new. Still, it seems that in their next installation they intend to test water ballasting, which is what we recommend.
At Landatu Solar we don’t exaggerate or make false claims, just as you can see in the photos, with our support the installation doesn’t require cranes or heavy machinery. In this case, only three workers were needed: while one was ballasting the supports, another was closing the lids, and the third was fastening the clamps to place the panels.
