Can water get into the supports?
No, the design of the lid and base prevents water from getting inside.
How much does a support weigh?
One support weigh 3kg, the equivalent of 3 bricks of milk.
What is the lifetime of the supports?
Our supports have a useful life of more than 25 years. Here you can view our warranty certificate.
What are the panel installation limitations?
The system is compatible with panels of any power and length. Currently, we recommend modules up to 2,280 mm in length for optimal installation.
Can an operator stand on top of the floating supports?
Yes. Each float supports up to 90 kg, and when connected, their load capacity increases. They also allow safe handling of the additional panel weight.
Does Landatu execute the installation?
We handle the design, customization, and supply of the entire system, and provide technical supervision during assembly.
The final installation is carried out by our partners and authorized installers, ensuring a safe and high-quality setup.Can the anchoring system be done on the ground?
Yes, we offer the possibility of anchoring the supports on the ground.
Can the anchoring system be done at the bottom of the water?
Yes, we offer the possibility to anchor the supports in the water.
What material are the supports made of?
Our supports are made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and contain two additives to increase their life span; an additive against UV rays and an anti-aging additive.

Landblock
Does evaporation affects the supports?
Yes, but only in a minimal amount. According to our studies, evaporation is approx. 800–900 g per year per block, which does not affect performance or require additional maintenance.
What happens if the water freezes?
The inside of the support has enough volume to allow the water to freeze and thaw, it can expand without any problems and without damaging the Landblock at any time.
How much does the Landblock weigh?
The supports weigh 3 kg, the equivalent of 3 milk cartons.
Can I ballast it with concrete or sand?
Yes, our supports can be ballasted with water, sand, gravel, concrete or any other material of your choice.
How much capacity does a Landblock have?
It depends on the base model:
56 L base → up to 56 liters of water or 100 kg of other materials (sand, gravel…).
90 L base → up to 90 liters of water or 160 kg of other materials.
How can I calculate the total ballast to include in each support to be safe?
In Landatu Solar we have our own software to calculate the ballast, help installers and design the installation to comply with the Eurocode.
What is the maximum slope the surface can have?
It can be installed on surfaces with an inclination from 0 to 5º.
What do I need to install the supports?
You don’t need anything, you can install them manually without any tools or machinery.
Can I install the support on my roof?
Our supports are designed for installation on flat surfaces and roofs, so if your roof is flat, yes.

Landblock AQUARACK
What is the tilt angle of the panels with Aquarack?
Aquarack allows panels to be installed with a fixed 10° tilt, designed to maximize production depending on the surface type.
How much does each deflector weigh?
Each deflector weighs 1.8 kg.
What is the water ballast capacity of each deflector?
Each deflector can be filled with up to 20 liters of water, ensuring proper fixation and system stability.
What panel sizes are compatible with Aquarack?
The system is designed to support panels up to 1304 mm. For special sizes, we recommend consulting our technical team.
How long do they last?
Our supports have a lifespan of 25 years or more.
Is surface drilling required to install Aquarack?
No, Aquarack uses water ballast, so it does not require drilling or invasive fixings on the roof or surface.
What if water filling is not possible?
If water filling is not possible, our technical team can advise on alternative ballasting solutions.
What do I need to install the supports?
Nothing is required—installation can be done manually without machinery.
Can I install the supports on my roof?

Is it safe against wind and extreme weather conditions?
Yes, Aquarack has been designed and tested to provide maximum stability. We also calculate ballast requirements for each project according to wind conditions.
